Privacy Policy
This policy explains what data GetResolved collects, why, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it. If anything is unclear use the chat on the bottom right corner or send an email hello@getresolved.ai and we'll explain.

Who we are
GetResolved is operated by My Dreams Are These Oy (business ID 3622718-6), a company registered in Finland. We are the data controller for personal data described in this policy, except where we act as a processor on behalf of our customers (see Data we process for our customers below).

Data we collect on this website
This section covers getresolved.ai— the marketing site you're reading now.
Analytics
We use a self-hosted analytics tracker (loaded from analytics.9i.fi) to understand how visitors find and use the site. It records page views, the referring page, screen size, and approximate location derived from your IP address. We do not sell this data and do not share it with advertising networks.
The tracker is cookie-less: no cookie, localStorage entry, or similar identifier is stored on your device. To tell unique visits apart on the server side, we derive a short fingerprint by hashing the current date, your user agent, and your IP address. Because the date is part of the hash, this fingerprint resets every day and cannot be used to follow you across days or across other sites.
Legal basis (GDPR): our legitimate interest in measuring and improving the site.
Chat widget
The GetResolved chat widget at the bottom-right of the site lets you send us a message. When you use it, we store the message contents, the page you sent it from, your browser and device details, and any email address or identifier you provide. We use this to reply to you and to improve the product.
Legal basis (GDPR): consent (you initiated the conversation) and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.
Cookies and similar storage
The site uses a small number of cookies and localStorage entries:
- Session and authentication — to keep you signed in to any in-app surfaces embedded on this domain.
- Preferences — to remember UI choices such as collapsed sections.
We do not set advertising cookies, do not embed third-party ad pixels, and our analytics tracker does not store anything on your device (see the Analytics section above).
Data we collect from GetResolved customers
When you create a GetResolved account, we collect the information needed to provide the service:
- Account data — your name, email address, password hash, workspace name, and team membership.
- Billing data — billing email, company name, VAT ID (if applicable), and a payment-method token issued by our payment processor. We do not store full card numbers.
- Product usage — logs of actions taken in the app (sign-ins, API calls, feature usage) for security, debugging, and capacity planning.
Legal basis (GDPR): performance of the contract you have with us (the Terms of Service), plus our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure and operational.
Data we process for our customers
GetResolved is a customer-support platform. When our customers use the product, end-user data flows through it — support tickets, chat conversations, feedback, contact details, and anything else end users send to our customers.
For that data, we act as a data processor under GDPR. Our customer is the controller. They decide what to collect and why; we process it under their instructions and under a Data Processing Agreement. If you are an end user and want to exercise rights over support data held in a GetResolved-powered inbox, please contact the company you were talking to. We'll help them respond.
How long we keep data
We keep personal data only as long as we need it. Our defaults:
- Marketing-site chat conversations — 24 months from the last message.
- Analytics — 14 months, then aggregated or deleted.
- Account data — for the lifetime of your account, then deleted within 90 days of account closure (except where law requires longer retention, such as accounting records, which we keep for the statutory period under Finnish law).
- Billing records — at least 6 years, as required by Finnish accounting legislation.
- Security and audit logs — 12 months.
Who we share data with
We don't sell personal data. We share it only with sub-processors that help us run the service, and only to the extent they need it. Current categories:
- Cloud hosting and infrastructure — the servers, databases, and storage that run the product.
- Email delivery — to send transactional emails such as sign-up confirmations and account notifications.
- Payment processing — to collect and remit payments and issue invoices.
- Error monitoring — to capture crashes and diagnostic information.
- AI model providers — we use the Anthropic API (Claude) to power AI features such as auto-tagging, sentiment analysis, idea clustering, and suggested replies. Conversation content and related metadata are sent to Anthropic only for the purpose of generating a response. Under Anthropic's commercial terms, API inputs and outputs are not used to train their models and are retained only for a limited operational period.
Some of these providers are based outside the EU/EEA. Where that's the case, transfers are covered by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard.
Your rights under GDPR
If you're in the EU, EEA, or UK, you have the right to:
- Access — get a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification — correct anything that's inaccurate or incomplete.
- Erasure — ask us to delete your data, subject to legal retention obligations.
- Restriction — ask us to pause processing while a dispute is resolved.
- Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.
- Object — object to processing based on legitimate interests, including any direct marketing.
- Withdraw consent — where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting prior processing.
To exercise any of these, email hello@getresolved.ai. We'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied, you can complain to your local data-protection authority. In Finland, that's the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman.
Security
We protect data with industry-standard measures: encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, least-privilege access controls, audit logging, and regular reviews of who has access to what. No system is perfectly secure, so if we ever discover a breach involving your personal data, we'll notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.
Children
GetResolved is a business product not intended for children under 16. We don't knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, email us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
We'll update this policy when our practices change. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent version. For material changes that affect your rights, we'll notify you by email or via an in-app notice before they take effect.
