Frequently asked questions
Product
What is GetResolved?
A unified support inbox built for solo founders and small teams. Customer chats, bug reports, feature requests, and feedback all land in one place — and AI turns those conversations into structured, deduplicated issues you can ship fixes for. Pricing starts at €5/mo.
Who is GetResolved for?
People who ship fast, talk to their own users, and live in the terminal — solo founders, indie hackers, and small product teams. If you're the founder and the support team, it's built for you.
Is GetResolved a help desk or a feedback tool?
Both, in one loop. GetResolved is a support inbox and an issue tracker — customer chat flows straight into the bug and feature-request board, so support and product live in the same place.
Is GetResolved a chatbot that auto-replies to customers?
No — at the moment the AI works behind the scenes (tagging, sentiment, clustering conversations into issues), not as a front-facing bot answering your customers for you. Replies come from you, just faster and better organized.
Does GetResolved work for non-developers?
Yes. The CLI and Slack workflows are there for the terminal crowd, but everything also works from the dashboard — no command line required.
Do I need to be technical to use it?
No. The CLI and Slack workflows are there if you want them, but the dashboard works on its own. The widget install is a single script tag.
Pricing & billing
How much does GetResolved cost?
Pay for what you use — €5/mo for 50 conversations, with a slider to size conversations and seats. The first seat is free. No per-resolution charges, no surprises.
Is there a free trial?
Yes — a 14-day free trial, no credit card required.
What happens if I go over my conversation limit?
Pricing scales with usage, so you size your plan with the slider as you grow.
Can I add teammates, and is there a cost per seat?
Yes. The first seat is free, and each extra seat is €4/month — add them with the seats slider.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes — no annual lock-in; your plan is month to month and you can cancel whenever. After you close your account, we delete your data within 90 days (we keep some billing records longer where law requires).
Setup & widget
How do I add chat to my site?
Drop in a single script tag. You get a branded chat widget customers can use without leaving your product. No SDK, no setup call.
How long does setup take?
Minutes. Paste one script tag for the widget; connect Slack if you want it. You can even sign up from the terminal.
Do my customers need to install or sign up for anything?
No. Customers chat right from your site through the widget — no account, no app, no download. They just type and you reply.
Can I customize the chat widget to match my brand?
Yes — it's a branded widget that lives in your product.
Can I manage multiple products?
Yes. Add as many products, surfaces, or sub-brands as you need — no per-product fee.
Integrations & workflow
Can I use GetResolved without leaving Slack?
Yes. Every conversation lands in your Slack channel and your replies sync back to the widget in real time, with full thread context. Slack is optional — the app works on its own too.
What does the Claude Code / CLI integration do?
You can pull an issue, read the customer threads behind it, and ship a fix without leaving your terminal. The CLI handles issues, replies, and releases — pair it with Claude Code to go from bug report to shipped fix in one loop.
What integrations does GetResolved support?
Slack (triage and reply from a channel), the Claude Code CLI (manage everything from the terminal), email replies, and the embeddable widget. More channels are on the way.
AI & issues
How does the AI turn conversations into issues?
GetResolved scans threads as they happen. Bugs, feature requests, and recurring pain points surface as deduplicated issues — so five customers reporting the same bug become one issue with five reports, not five tickets.
Does it handle duplicate reports automatically?
Yes. GetResolved clusters similar reports into a single issue, so you see the real signal — "3 customers asked for this" — instead of sorting the same complaint over and over.
Can I link releases back to the issues they fixed?
Yes. Ship as often as you like and tie every release to the conversations it resolved — then follow up with the customers who reported it.
Comparisons
How is GetResolved different from Intercom?
Flat, predictable pricing instead of per-resolution AI fees and per-seat creep. No enterprise bloat — just chat, a unified inbox, AI issue detection, Slack, and a CLI. You can run your whole support loop from Slack or your terminal without ever opening a dashboard.
How does GetResolved compare to a free tool like Tawk.to or Chatwoot?
Free live-chat tools give you a widget and an inbox, but stop there — you still sort, dedupe, and track issues by hand. GetResolved closes the loop: chat turns into deduplicated issues, issues link to releases, and you can ship fixes straight from the terminal. You're paying for the loop, not just the chat.
Other
What languages does GetResolved support?
Follow-ups can be sent in the customer's own language.
How do I get help or request a feature?
Through the public Slack community — and, fittingly, GetResolved tracks its own feature requests the same way you'd track yours.
